We are happy to welcome you to experience a day of observation and reflection of our school.
During our time together, you will have a guided tour of our school, observe in our classrooms and meet with teachers, and facilitators to gain a deeper understanding of the culture of our school.
Join us for an immersive day at Branches Atelier designed for educators and school leaders. This guided tour offers a close look at our learning environments, materials, and pedagogical approach. Participants will explore how thoughtfully curated spaces and materials support inquiry, creativity, and deep engagement in the classroom.
The day will also include an observation of a reflective team meeting with Branches teachers, offering insight into our collaborative practices around documentation and curriculum development.
Lunch is included, providing time for informal conversation and connection with fellow educators.
Throughout the day, there will be opportunities for discussion, reflection, and dialogue. This experience is ideal for teachers, administrators, and pedagogical leaders interested in deepening their understanding of environment as the “third teacher” and How the Hundred languages are integrated throughout our school.
This tour will cover the following:
- How are the values of our school integrated through out the flow of the day?
- How do the teachers engage children through the use of materials?
- What role do reflection meetings play in the organization of the day?
- How are documentation tools used to support, uncover and develop children’s inquires?
- How are parents involved in our school?
- How are pedagogical team meetings used to uncover and support children’s learning?
